Week of June 12th

The film festival was amazing. It seemed to me that a lot of people liked the line up this year. I'd say the death of a paisa was my favorite film. I was disappointed about the lack of action filled movies, If I remember correctly, I think there were only 2 or 3 films that had any action in them, but overall, it was a very enjoyable event.

Week of June 5th

This week, we finished editing our second film and are finishing up filming our third film.

Week of May 29

We finished filming and are about to finish editing the film, so then we can move on to our 3rd film.

Week of May 22

This week, we have finished filming around a third to half of the film. We will probably be filming on the weekend as well.

Week of May 15

This week, we are finishing up our script and will begin filming, hopefully, next week.

Week of April 24

We had to reshoot scene since it originally came out bad and now we are just finishing it up.

Week of April 17th

This week, we have finished filming and are finishing editing the film. We have already started thinking of ideas for our next film.

Week of April 10th

This week, we are still filming and working on our first film, but we have finished our second script which is going to be for a PSA.

Week of April 3rd

This week, we finished our script and began filming, in my opinion, it came out pretty good so far, we finished one scene from the film.

March 27th

This week, we had mostly been working on the screenplay for the film. Frankie, Joseph, Edwin, Gilbert and another whose name I can't remember at the moment (my bad) are in the group. We've been working on a sort of mockumentary/ narrative kind of film.

What Music Means to Me

To me, music is pretty much just music. I never really thought of it as anything more than just something to listen to. While I do know that for others it can be considered an escape or something varying influential to them, but I don't really think of it as that. I mostly don't really mind any kind of music, I could listen to rap, rock, indie, folk, or even country as long as it sounds good.

Problems & Struggles

High school students sometimes have to deal with a lot of problems. Many students have to deal with stress caused by school. They might not be able to handle or keep up with the work they have to do, they might have to much work and start stressing over it. Other students might have only one parent or never really had one, which overall can affect someone throughout their entire life. Some students might have lost a family member and it would've affected them mentally, which can affect how they are in school or how they deal with others. Some high school students always try meeting with expectations set by others but always stress out or struggle with it.

The Most Interesting Person in the World

To me the most interesting person in the world would be my brother luis, he has experienced so many things and always has interesting stories to tell me. He has always told me about experiences he's had since I was in elementary. I was always interested in them because to me, I always thought they were great and a nice way to pass time.

My Anti Drug

I would have to say my anti drug would be playing video games. When I would go home, I would do my homework and then start playing some games. When I start playing, I just don’t care so much about my surroundings or what I might need to do later, I just focus on the game. I would just play with my friends online, do some raids, or just mess around in game for the most part. Even if I have a bad day, I could just get home, start playing and pretty much forget about it.

An Inconvenient Truth

During the movie, when he began discussing about the melting of Greenland and part of Antarctica, I'd say that, that had a pretty big impact on me. The fact that if one of the two were to melt, it would raise the sea levels around 20 ft. It would cause so much damage and ruin so many lives. In the film, he says that in the past when the ice in north american had melted and went into the sea, it had caused an ice age in europe, and right now greenland is melting as well, and if it keeps melting and all the water would go into the sea, then there could be another ice age. A lot of companies don't care much about it, they will do whatever they can to continue their work with pollution being created as they do so.
